A New Era for Yamaha’s Legendary Mixer Family

Yamaha’s MG series has long been a staple in live sound, recording, installation, broadcast, and corporate environments. For years, the analog MG models were celebrated for their reliability, musical character, and practical features. The launch of the MGX Digital Series represents Yamaha’s response to the evolving needs of today’s audio professionals who demand not just mixing capability, but also advanced digital connectivity and hybrid audio/video workflows.

The MGX Series leverages the legacy of its predecessors while providing a fresh suite of digital features that elevate performance. In addition to pristine audio quality and a flexible signal path, MGX mixers introduce multi-channel USB audio, streamlined control surfaces, and enhanced workflow tools that help creators work faster and more efficiently than ever before.

MGX Digital Mixer Designed for the Hybrid Creative Landscape

In an age where live events, virtual performances, podcasts, and content streaming are increasingly intertwined, the MGX Series is purpose-built to handle hybrid production workflows. Yamaha has designed the MGX mixers not just as audio consoles but as central hubs for hybrid audio/video setups an advantage that resonates with a wide cross-section of professionals in Malaysia market.

One of the standout capabilities of select MGX models is their HDMI-USB audio/video capture interface. This allows users to feed both high-quality audio and video simultaneously into a computer for recording and live streaming. This capability supports emerging use cases such as live streaming concerts, hybrid conferences, virtual events, and multi-platform content creation without the need for separate audio interfaces or video capture card.
