The HARMAN Connect APAC 2026 held on March 11-12 at the W Hotel Singapore - Sentosa Cove was a major professional AV event brought together industry professionals, distributors, system integrators, and technology partners from across the Asia-Pacific region for two days of learning, networking, and product discovery. This event served as a regional platform for showcasing Harman’s latest innovations in Martin Professional lighting and JBL Professional audio and integrated technology solutions.
Our team had the privilege of attending this event after being invited by Systems Electronics & Engineering, a key industry partner and system integrator in Malaysia. The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with professionals across the region while gaining insights into the newest technologies shaping the future of entertainment production, touring, and installed AV systems.
A Regional Platform for Innovation and Collaboration
Organised by Harman Professional Solutions, Harman Connect events have become an important meeting point for the professional AV and entertainment technology industry. These gatherings allow distributors, consultants, rental companies, and system integrators to explore emerging technologies, attend product training sessions, and exchange industry knowledge.
The two-day program featured a combination of product demonstrations, technical presentations, and case study discussions from Harman’s global product management team. Participants were able to explore technologies from Harman’s extensive portfolio of brands, which include JBL Professional, Martin Professional, AKG, Flux, and many more under the Harman ecosystem.
Beyond product showcases, the event also created a collaborative environment where industry experts could share real-world experiences and discuss how AV technologies are evolving to support modern venues, hospitality spaces, and large-scale entertainment productions.

One of the highlights of Harman Connect APAC 2026 was the lighting technology presentation led by Henrik Kristensen. The session introduced several new fixtures from Martin Professional, focusing on performance, creative flexibility, and modern lighting design requirements.

In addition to product sessions, Harman Connect APAC 2026 also featured guest speakers who shared real-world applications in global touring and professional AV technologies.
Marriott International delivered a talk about the growing importance of integrated AV solutions in the hospitality sector. As hotels increasingly host conferences, hybrid events, and large-scale meetings, great products like Harman professional sound, lighting, and control systems have become essential components of modern hospitality infrastructure.

Another insightful presentation came from Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd on the Mandai Exploria, where E&E Singapore shared their experience implementing technology solutions within Mandai’s unique attraction environments. The system installation using JBL speaker highlighted how AV technology can enhance visitor experiences through immersive sound, lighting, and storytelling installations.

For installed sound environments, Harman also presented the JBL Control 400 Series. These ceiling speakers are widely used in commercial installations such as hotels, retail outlets, corporate facilities, and educational institutions.
