Istana Budaya Kuala Lumpur
Istana Budaya is the Malaysia National Theatre that was built in 1999 to cater for the awareness and the much need grand theater to house international and local theatre show. Located nearby Titiwangsa Lake, it consist of a auditorium that can house about 1400 people and a main theatre.
For the theatre lighting ADB Lighting was used from the dimmer, controller and most of the luminaries. This was the obvious choice as ADB Lighting is international brand and has been installed in many theatre around the world. The whole lighting system was installed by LSI Projects UK in collaboration with the local office LSI Asia Sdn Bhd. All the cabling, networking, patch panel was installed together with the package.
The dimmer system consist of 10 ADB Eurodim 2 dimmer rack that houses about 800 over dimmer channels. The Lighting Controls was the ADB Vision 10 that now has been replaced by ADB Phoenix 10. ADB Viison has since been discontinued by ADB Lighting.
The luminaries consists of the 2kW profile, fresnel, pc and cyclorama which is also ADB brand.
