Zero 88 Training In Malaysia
23 April 2009 - Artistic Controls together with Artistic LDR recently held a one day Lighting Control Desk training by Zero 88 in Subang Holiday Villa Malaysia. It was conducted by Mr Graham Eales the Managing Director of Zero 88 UK.
The training was aimed to introduce new products range from Zero 88 and provide a basic and advanced operational training to the dealers, rental company, system integrator (SI) and the customer who have purchased the Zero 88 control desk.
This is the first time Zero 88 Training for Stage Lighting was conducted here. Similar training like this was also conducted in Singapore by Lighting Controls the Distributor for Zero 88 in Singapore.
The response was over whelming as we have about 50 peoples attended the training and mostly from the rental company and project company. We also have consultants that wanted to know more information.
The training mostly concentrates on the Zero 88 Leapfrog 48 control desk, Light Converse Software, Jester ML24 and Betapack dimmer. In the morning session Graham Eales gave a power point presentation of the Zero 88 products range highlighting the features and selling points for each products range. After lunch break the participants consisting of various vendors were split into 3 groups. Graham handles the Leapfrog and Light Converse software training group and Michael Liew and Joseph from Lighting Controls handle the dimmer group whereas Fazli taken care the Jester ML series.
The hand on training cover the how to operate the desk and each participants will be giving the opportunity to operate the desk themselves. They then move from one group to another group to learn more from the different desk.
The participants appreciate this kind of training and perhaps more of this training will be conducted in the future.
